Our Work with Universities [The Pinnacle Project]
Your alumni introduced us to the EMBA world. More than a decade ago our team took on a large number of projects to develop high potentials employees who had recently graduated from top MBA programs. We are passionate about the Executive MBA space because we want to help people develop leadership skills earlier in their careers. Our founder, Barbara Singer Cheng, has enjoyed serving the Executive MBA Council as corporate liaison to the board. We understand that business schools are under increased scrutiny about how well they develop ethical and competent leaders. Our team works to challenge and advance the field by evolving:
- Executive coaching
- Leadership classes and modules
- Cohort action learning projects
- Alumni learning events
- Faculty retreats
- Online collaboration
We also consult with schools on curriculum design and how to launch new offerings in their executive education functions. For instance, we help one top school launch their women in business series designed to guide women into the c-suite. Our professionals are comfortable team teaching with faculty and bring a fresh business perspective (many are former SVPs or higher from major organizations). Many of our professionals also have PhDs, which helps with your accreditation challenges.
To provide more action learning opportunities for students and make the most from their cohort experience, we've partnered with OnTheSystem. We've created a comprehensive collaboration environment where students can get organized, meet remotely, assign projects with deadlines, post their collective assignments for group revision, and upload resources they are finding helpful. They can use the system to blog and dialogue with faculty. The knowledge base helps everyone find threads of important discussions and posted documents more easily.
This means your students can focus on learning and not have to worry about the logistics of collaborating. They will also be impressed with your technology edge as most of them are high users of similar systems like FaceBook, LinkedIn, Plaxo, etc. Through the innovative "Groups" feature students and alumni can employ mass collaboration to solve business challenges. It changes the game about how your students/alumni can consult with one another. We are committed to finding new ways to make leadership development easier, more effective, and closely connected to business challenges.
